Course Description:

Course Outline:   This course is designed to cover all the features of the 2010 Project Web App likely to be used by Resource Managers including Resource Loading, Assigning Team Resources, and managing resource skills.

Who Should Attend

Resource Managers who have already attended the introductory course and have had at least two to three weeks as a consolidation period, but who are also responsible for managing and assigning Resources within the business, or who simply need to manage their own team of resources.

Project Server Architecture and overview of the EPM solution:
How data is exchanged between Microsoft Project Professional 2010, Project Server and viewed in PWA. How users/stakeholders without Microsoft Project 2010 can interact with the Project Server database. The features of the Project Web App that are most helpful in managing resources and project teams. This includes Project Server’s timesheet capability, delegation, and notification processes, as well as understanding how to use the wider features of the Project Web App including accessing the right reports and data of relevance to the Resource Manager.
